My parents are that annoying type of parents that are really quite awkward with relationships and their child. I couldn't ask to go to the park with a girlfriend without them going 'oh! You've got a girlfriend?' in a kind of annoying voice and then ask loads of questions. Im to sure how to get over this :/

Keep your cool, ignore it, and walk firmly to your room.

Tell them that it's annoying you and if they push back ask in a very polite way if you're allowed to treat people the way they are treating you.

Personally you are 13, you don't need a girlfriend and also most parents are like that.
Her is a quote from my mother that may explain why they do what they do:
You have been embarrassing me your whole life and now I am just getting even...

That quote was genius Robby ^ :D
But yeah, they're just being parents. Leave out the whole "girlfriend" thing if it bothers you that much. Or stand your ground a little more often. Tell them that you're a human being, and should be entitled to a little privacy, etc.

If you really want to not have them knowing, don't tell them. Personally, I have no problem keeping stuff from my parents, especially when I know it would only lead to them being more annoying/intrusive. However, if they find out, they could easily ground you. Without a car, it's really hard to hide. So my advice is just tell em. I highly doubt it will make your life that miserable.
