Disable meow, whip, slap OR give us an option to disable audio for those only.

Currently whenever I enter the chat all I hear for a lot of the time is "meow" Whip, slap.

It does get on my nerves. So I right click and disable audio. The only problem is that if I do that I don't get any sound for when someone says my name or when someone leaves or enters the room. This is again a slight issue as those sounds I don't mind and are semi important so people don't think I am ignoring them.

So a suggestion would be, if possible. To allow the audio option to disable the whip, slap, meow. But leave the key audio like welcome and the beep that says your name.

I'm in favor of this too. I do hope that the chat software company (Addon or something) have an option to do this otherwise there probably is no way.

I don't believe that we can control this without disabling all sounds(effectively the same as "mute"). You will probably have to speak to those at AddonChat (http://www.addonchat.com/).

I don't support this. Because they don't do it often or a mod gets upset. So, mute it or just put up with it like... 3 times before a mod steps in and asks them to stop.

Yeah, we don't let the sounds get spammed, and most times people don't even use them.

In my experience, when it happens in an annoying fashion is when chat is unmodded. And the buggers see their opportunity and spam the fuck out of the sounds.

I support this idea, but I also think it would be extremely convenient if we could manually disable specific soundsets without completely muting everything. e.g. only disable the sign in/out sounds, or only disable the beeps (when someone types your username), or only the whip/slap/meow, etc. I don't know about the addon software, but that would be quite lovely. Or just removing the whip/slap/meow sounds altogether would be good too, in my opinion.

Now there is a mod in the chat maybe 80% of the time, whether they be visible or ghosting. I think that if that happens maybe just say stop or leave the chat. It is completely optional.
