I don't know too many of the older ones, but Max Bemis, Adam Lazarra, Julian Casablancas, Dave Grohl, Eric Nally, Jack White, and Christopher Drew would all be on my list.

Serious? Can't believe Axl hasn't been mentioned!
Axl Rose! Complete arsehole but an awesome front man.
Motley Crüe as a whole band - Tommy Lee upside down etc etc.
And finally Sebastian Bach, an amazingly talented vocalist.

I'm of the opinion it should be -.-

Another one, Jack Black is always amusing.
I think it's been mentioned but Dio as well.
Do you even have to mention Ozzy and EVH when talking about great frontmen? They're a given.
And Dee Snider, always a classic.

Where the FRAK is Elvis Presley...the king of rock? Sound familiar? If there was no Elvis, none of these others listed would even exist. And Alice Cooper, where's he? Gene Simmons, Axl Rose, and Mick Jagger as well. I'm seriously losing all hope I had for our generation. :P Kiddin'

There never was a true front man for Floyd, which is why it was more of a group band than anything. There was no one who would write the lyrics and sing them. The only front man Pink Floyd had was Gilmour, but that was during the last two albums they made. So no, Pink Floyd was never a band to have one singer.

I can't argue with you about The Man In Black, I love his music. I used to listen to him with my grampa. But, when I think rock I just don't think "Johnny Cash", I automatically think The King of Rock. I love them both and their music.
