Okay, so there's this girl, & she's a year older than me, and a lives a state away, & we both like each other & are starting to get to know each other, should I try asking her out, or no?

If you want, It's really up to you. Long distant relationships can work you just need honesty, communication and trust. Also, would you be able to meet her? You have to think about how the relationship might progress in the future.
