Everything happened so fast,
He led me to the death I feared inside,
He held my hand as he dug it deeper,
He declared his love to the people in my head,
While we hurt endlessly.
Tears of fear crashed through the barricades we have set up,
Let’s sew these lips closed,
Nothing will leave our hearts,
They will rip out of our chests,
We will breathe these lasts breaths with curses on our tongue.
You whisper in my ear,
Your voice consumes my very being,
We’ll slit these wrists and watch it coat the walls.
“Believe me.”
Your raspy voice breaths into my ear as you stab me deeper.
“None of this will stop, you can never run.”
