Wow I'm confused

Sssoooooo... I like this girl.We've been close friends for about 4 years. Last summer she asked if I liked her and if i was thinking about dating her.I said no because I was afraid that her answer was no and our friendship would be ruined.I still like her alot and want to ask her out. Any tips, ideas, or advice would be usefull. Thanks in advance

the best thing to do is get her alone and confess everything to her and if your still to shy to tell her that to her face have a back up plan message her or just write her a note .most girls love that little secret note thing .i hope this helps you :)

To me it sounds like she may have been testing to se if you liked her and theres a possibility she liked you when she asked you that
