im on the depo provera shot so i figured i concieved after i got the shot
i had finished my period the day i got the shot and its been about 5 weeks
what should i do?
should i discontinue the shot and get medical/prenatal care??
im kinda freaking out as ive done some reading and found out that carrying a baby full term and not knowing while on the depo provera birth control can cause pre-mature birth or low birth weight...
really worried!!!!

I think that if you are intent upon carrying this child to full term then I suggest you contact, make an appointment with your general practitioner asap and then they can help you go from there. S/He will be able to recommend an OB/GYN and programs for prenatal learning.

You know you're pregnant? Then discontinue the shot. It's not like it can help you anymore.

Obviously, if you are pregnant and intend to carry your pregnancy to term, you have an obligation to seek pre-natal care. You need vitamins to help your baby grow and you need regular check-ups to make sure your pregnancy progresses smoothly and without complications, or if there are complications that they can be dealt with. This isn't just about your baby's health, but also your own.

Find a new doctor then, it's not too hard to find one in your area, they're basically everywhere.

Your baby is probably fine. Do you know for certain that you are pregnant?

You can go to any clinic and get referred out to the best doctor for you. Really, what you need to do is see a physician who can really help reassure you that everything is fine and your baby is healthy, and get you on the right path.
