im 14 and my parents have smoked ciggerates like all my life and it never really bothered me its something i kinda got used to.
Even in the car like me and my brother wouldnt like it but we just try and forget about it. but it really annoys me more now than ever. i speak to them about it but they wont change atall.
My clothes my friends say smell of smoke which sucks! and the only no smoking rooms at home are mine and my brother and sisters room. Even in the car i like feel better when there both stubbing them out because i can breath again! does anyone else feel the same about there parents smoking!?

My mum smokes, but then again so do I so I can't really be a hypocrite and say 'yeah I hate it'. Before I personally started, I used to hate my mum smoking especially, like you said, in the car. I think that smoking in a car is far more dangerous than at home or whatever - you're in a confined space and if the windows aren't open, good luck.

My parents don't smoke but my grandpa does. I hate it I think it reeks and I can hardly breathe when he does, especially in the car

well there's nothing really you can do.
you can't stop them unless they want to quit smoking themselves.

My mom smokes. My mom's friend though quit by reading a book called "The easy way for women to stop smoking." By Alan carr. My mom's friend completely stopped, and my Dad and I are trying to get this for my mom. Try that for your mom. For your dad get him some nicorette gum and/or patches for his birthday. Just try. You do not know until you try.

My grandparents used to smoke, my other grandpa still does, and now my sister does also. I didn't have a problem with my grandparents because I was little and they always went outside. With my sister now though, I made it clear that I get sick when I smell smoke. I would tell your parents what your problem is with it, and ask them to at least smoke outside. I know that it can get really annoying, but if you have a good excuse, they might try to adjust to what you want.

Yeah my dad smokes. My mom makes him smoke in the garage though because she hates the smell.

I dont know about other places but in california it is illegal to smoke in the car with minors in the car. I would check your local laws, and if it is illegal, tell your parents they are breaking the law

You could ask them to smoke outside or just stay in a separate room. Both of my parents smoke, my clothes smell like smoke, but it used to be a lot worse until my mom smoked outside exclusively, and my dad kept it in the basement.

yea even in the basement would be better I guess. Like now the only room we get without smoking is mine and brothers rooms.
The worst thing that annoys me alot is like when we go over my homework with me and they have a ciggerate the really strong smell makes me feel sleepy!

Try coughing extra loud and maybe a little dramatically when it really gets to you, maybe they will then get the hint......

Yea dude I do sometimes! But there always like well if you don't like it go out the room or outside so it's really annoying. And I'm kinda good at running at school but some are faster and I get out of breath, sucks having parents addicted to stupid ciggerates!

Ask them politely if they can smoke when you are not around. If they are good parents, they can wait a couple minutes till you are not with them. But do it politely.
