You have got to be kidding. Look at all the third party support WiiU is getting with Mass Effect 3, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Trine 2, and Ninja Gaiden 3 (http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2012/06/05/mass-effect-3-coming-to-wii-u.aspx). Considering Nintendo is famous for little to no third party support for their consoles, this is a huge turn around.

On top of the third party games, the Nintendo Sunday conference detailed a new social network for all their current systems (sans the original Wii), showed us the official product version of the WiiU, reinvented the controller from last year with analog sticks and proper buttons, and they're even releasing the console BEFORE Sony and Microsoft release their next-gen hardware. If anything, Nintendo should be talked about more at this E3 because they have easily blown everyone else out of the water.

Sony and Microsoft conferences were ok at best. Sony's was so highly disappointing in the fact that no major surprises were given and the surprises they did give out were known months before hand. With that said, the new story book peripheral they showed kind of looks like a child's toy. I wouldn't expect something like that at E3, but I guess it was sort of neat. Both Microsoft and Sony have been on this kick for appealing to casual gamers with peripherals like Kinect and Move that it sort of alienates their core base.

The touchpad thing for the WiiU is what broke it for me, quite honestly. For God sake, it looks like a CHORE to play games. So that's why I don't like it, and I'm sure a fair amount of other people don't like it, either..
