This Girl is Amazing!

So I just started talking to this girl in one of my classes and shes really gorgeous! She's been gone a few days on vacation, but we've been texting a lot. One of her friends told me she likes me and i should ask her out and I really like her too, but i haven't really hung with her in person, but I plan on taking her out for lunch when she gets back. Should I ask her out now, or wait til we've spent some real time together?

If she says yes to lunch and what your friend said is true dont be surprised if she asks you out

Yeah you should spend some time with her first. You've only gotten to know her at school, but hanging out outside of school will let you get to know her even better. Even though you pretty much know that she likes you, it's just better to do it that way. You don't want to get into relationships too quickly.

I did it! I finally asked her out after school, it felt really good and she said yes :D But things are a lil awkward, but I heard its just a stage everyone goes through, any hints on avoiding the awkwardness?
