This is something we'd wear with like basketball shorts and a white t if we're just relaxing.

Yep, I see it all the time, episally through-out the school year. I normally don't do it, but very rare if I'm with my friend's and I'm too lazy to wear shoes then I do this, expect with Nike sandals, not addidas.

A lot of guys do that here actually and I think it looks so weird.

The only time I've ever worn socks with those type of sandals is right after volleyball practice or games because I only wear my shoes on the court.
