It really stumps me, because it sounds like they're both the same principle - [b]Liking more than one gender.[b] It confuses me, on how they differ, and how to tell.
I'm questioning, and I think I might be bisexual, or pansexual..but I can't really be 100% sure when I have no clue what they are.
Thanks.
P.S: This is my 100th thread :)

Bisexual is where you like both men and women. Pansexual is where you like all Genders.
Hope this helps a bit.

I'm a bit foggy on this, but I was under the impression that pansexuality is finding gender completely irrelevant when selecting a sexual partner, whereas bisexuality is merely being attracted to both men and women.

Basically, bi-sexuality is where you are sexually attracted to both genders. As i understand it, Pansexuality is more where a person is not influenced by gender, they find it irrelevant in finding a person to love etc. I may be wrong, but that is how i understand it :)

I am not attracted to both genders, just one. I am attracted to both sexes.
Can you see where I fall?

Pansexuals don't discriminate sexually towards either gender.

As you can see, from the above. I am attracted to those of one gender, which is feminine. I don't care for the sex.
I am bisexual in the sense that my sexual orientation involves sexes, and not genders. The opposite is not true for others, for e.g a guy who likes both feminine and masculine females, that's just being straight or gay(in case of same sex)
Got me so far?

1. Freaking love the Google search thing.
2. That would mean that you would fall into the category of "homoromantic bisexual"

I think pansexuality is loving all genders, including transsexuals. Correct me if I'm wrong.. :P

One of my best friends is pansexual, I remind her daily that she will find a nice pan one day :3
One a serious note she explained to me that gender is just not a factor. Where bi people usually lean more towards one gender.

Does Pansexual people think there is just one gender and we are all the same? This is confusing

No
Pansexuals don't like people based on their gender. They are basically gender blind. So they aren't attracted to males or females, but more like all humans.
They will date transgenders, transexuals, males, females, androgynous people, etc.
