Any cold drinks for the summer coming up? I live in FL and it is beyond hot. Personally, I like to put cranberry juice into some cold ginger ale. Any other suggestions?

Talk about hot.. today was probably the hottest day we've had and my AC decides to break again!

I like a Malibu or spiced rum in mountain dew. Three shots of jack in a coke.
If it's non-alcoholic, arizona iced tea mixed with cherry limeade :)

Water. Best drink to re-hydrate you. All these other ones will do the opposite.

For sure! I may be in FL, but the southern iced tea is still pretty good. Whenever I go up to GA, I always try to get some.

I'm a vitamin water fan when it's hot. Squeezed or XXX, the absolute best flavors!

If you're a coffee person, but don't want to go to Starbucks/McDonalds'/etc.-
Brew up coffee, however much you want. When it's done brewing, pour some in a cup, but leave room for ice, creamer, sugar.
Put as much sugar as you like in, then add as much creamer as you want. Just enough to make it sweet enough for your liking. Then, four or five ice cubes should work, so just be careful putting it in the cup. After that, it should be ready to drink!

That's all I can think of at the moment, but yeah, Florida summers are brutal! :P

I live in South Florida, I feel you bro.

Gotta love a good smoothie. Get a blender, google some good smoothie recipes and experiment.

Invest in a snow cone maker.

Ice cold water is always nice to hydrate yourself.

Or one of my favorite, coca cola. Buy a 12-pack of those puppies and you're set.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I live in the southern part of Georgia and it is also Beyond Hot. I drink Iced Coffee, but mostly just straight up Ice Water. My favorite summer drink would be Lemonade or Sweet Tea, but I dont drink them that much, haha

Being by the border (in Texas) I think the best drinks for a hot summer day would have to be..

- Horchata (pretty much cold rice water with cinimon and vinilla extract, and a secret ingridient :P)
- Agua de melon/pepino/naranja (any kind you like but those are my favorite 3)

Water. Lots and lots of water. I drink about 8 bottles of water a day when I'm at work, and a little less when not. Sodas are a no-no because you won't stay hydrated.
