Hey Tyger, good start! I've seen you around so many times but I never noticed you were just up in Ocala, barely an hour and something away!! :O
I'd stay away from the flash in your last image. You really want a sturdy tripod and a long exposure to get depth and contrast.
Other than that... get out there and keep shooting! :)

My tripod was in the trunk which jammed, so I had to use flash. >_<
The other three have been edited in Photoshop for better color and contrast.

These are really good :)
but on you first image i think you over edited because you can see the pixels.
but their really good! and you don't always have to take pictures with a tripod, usually the camera would auto focus if you don't move. but all in all their good!
