I have been on this site a while and I used to have an account when I was was younger but I have never really understood how it works. I know you can give it to people and get it given to you for posts etc and threads but once you have it does it only stay there for so long or do you have it untill someone gives you a negative one which will nock one of the green blocks off? I'm confused lol if you could give me just a general oppinion of it then that ould be great :') Thanks

The purpose of the rep system is used as a sort of "thank you" system. The more rep someone has, the more your rep goes up when they +rep you, or the more it goes down when you're neg repped.

The green blocks don't represent how many times you have been repped, but it's rather a scale of how much rep you have.

You can find more information about the rep system here. (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/faq.php?faq=vb3_user_profile#faq_vb3_reputation)
