I just wash my face every morning and at night with water. Sometimes if I get acne I'll just put handsoap on my face, even though I don't think your supposed to.

Well, if there are acne products that you want to try, then try it. Dont be afraid if it looks like a girl thing, because both girls and guys have acne. I would try some acne products similar to Proactive. I know from experience if you have a serious case of acne, that most likely creams and such dont work. They might help, but they dont get rid of them all the way. All people are different, so try it if you want. I know you said not to, but I would recommend going to a dermatologist. I had a serious case of acne and they put me on meds. Its been a year and a month or two and my face and back has cleared up. The doc said I they might take me off pretty soon. Anyways, any acne product works for both sexes. So, play around with different products and see what works best for you.

Use Dermalogica!!!
It costs quite a fair bit, but it's WELL worth the money!
See with many of the skin products on the market (Neutrogena, Clean & Clear) dont treat your skin for breakouts/pimples, they only prevent it.
I know quite a lot of guys use Dermalogica and it really does work!!
So just search around for your nearest seller and you can ask for a few samples to take home :)

"girl" pimple products also work for guys. A girls' facially skin is hardly any different. BUt I would recommend going to a dermatologist. I had bad skin. I used proactive, which lasted for a bit, but it all came back. I went to the dermatologist, got prescription medicine, and my skin has stayed clear for a long time.

What I recommend is using Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Daily Scrub and Neutrogena All-in-1 (or Body Clear Body Spray). Use it once a day and it should clear up within a week or so. Also make sure you don't mix acne stuff, do not mix Benzoyl Peroxide and Salycylic Acid (or spelled something like that).
What Benzoyl Peroxide does, is kill the bacteria that cause pimples. What Salycylic Acid does is speed up the process that skin makes new cells. I would also recommend getting a facial. It's about $45 (here it is) and its totally worth it.

Wash to acne site regularly with some sort of scrub. Putting lemon juice on the site has helped me too...Do that at night and wash it off in the morning.

The things your mum said arent true except the staying up late. Eating chocolate doesn't really do anything to your skin.
What you should eat are berries, nuts, tomatoes, chicken, steak, fish, green beans and green and yellow peppers.
Avoid dairy.
When it comes to acne creams only use one and less is more otherwise it could make it worse.

If you have severe acne like I did go to the dermatologist and see if they will put you on a off brand of acutane, I took clevaris and it literally took it all away best thing that ever happened to me.

The chocolate things isn't true. Eat as much as you like because it won't affect your spots. I would go doctors if it is that badly affecting you.

I have a bad case of acne (and I still have now) and my advice is to never, ever, ever, EVER touch or try pricking it. That would be the worst thing you could ever do. Resist trying to even touch or poke it. If you really can't, make sure your hands are absolutely clean before touching your face. :)

The only real way to treat acne is to go to the dermatologist. I used to break out all over my face, all the time. I went to the dermatologist, got pills, gel, and face wash, and that did the trick. There is a 100% guarantee that if you go to the dermatologist your acne will go away, because acne is not just a normal part of puberty, but also an infection. You can get it treated.

Hey I understand what you mean here! At first my acne wasnt so bad then it got bad, so I bought all stuff they sell on tv. Na didn't work. So I went to my doctor and got prescribed a gel, clindamycne something like that and it works as also antibiotics. I do both and my face is clean! Try using oxy 5 or 10 to wash your face it's powerful! And there is no link between food and ance it's a myth. And sport could affect it bcuz of sweating and etc...

Chocolate has nothing to do with pimples lol lack of sleep/stress does.
Okay so for most people, you can't really avoid pimples at 15. Most people get pimples because of hormonal changes in their bodies that they can't stop...just part of life. You can, however, limit the amount of pimples you get or the frequency of outbreaks. Let me just start off by saying do NOT pop pimples. I know it's a tempting quick fix but scars your face horribly.
1. Don't worry if it's made for guys or girls. If it works for you USE IT
2. Wash your face with acne products every day when you wake up and before bed
3. Don't eat a lot of oily foods
4. Avoid touching your face too much especially without washing your hands first
5. SLEEP. I stay up late a ton! Always gives me pimples. I tried sleeping like a normal person for a while (few weeks) literally after the first two days I cleared up a bunch
6. If you have long hair/bangs touching your face...wash your hair
7. Drink lots of water
Depending on how much you want to spend there's a bunch of choices. All of these you can get without seeing a derma. (The most successful products between myself and a ton of my friends)
High end - Dermalogica: It'll cost you a few more dollars but it works. They just released a pretty affordable kit for teen skin though. I think a sample kit (tiny ass bottles) is like $35 + S/H (p.s - THIS ISH WORKS) A full acne kit from them was right around $200 for me
Moderately Priced - Proactiv: Used to be pricey but they've gotten a lot better. I think you can get a teen kit with good sizes on their site for $29 + free shipping (idk how long that lasts) Warning about this: If it works for you then your face kinda becomes addicted. If you just stop or miss a day or two you will break out. You have to ween your face off it for at least a week. For the "90 day" sized bottles the kit is $60 + s/h but they last way longer than 90 days
Cheap but work - Neutrogena Stress Control product line: Personally I like the foaming soap better than the scrub but that's up to you. I find these barely work at making pimples go away that are already there, but they do a pretty good job keeping them off your face for a really good price. You can find these anywhere (walmart, target, cvs, etc) and a bottle should only be around $5-6. Smells like cucumber and is cooling on your face. Didn't make my face oily and didn't dry it out to where I needed moisturizer.
Everyone is different though so try out different systems. A simple daily wash might work for you or you might need a kit (wash/toner/moisturizer). Just make sure you're not using too harsh a product...that'll make you blotchy. Don't forget with Proactiv and Dermalogica you need to use sunscreen if you go out for a long time.
Good luck! Hope this helped

Don't use toothpaste! lol
It might make the pimple go away faster but it made my skin peal.
It also won't take care of a lot of pimples
