How can I create a Social group?

I wish to create a social group. YES, I looked in the FAQ how to and it said go to the 'groups' page. I couldn't find anything but the Social Groups Page and I still can't find how to create a social group. Can someone please help me? Any help is much appreciated :yes:

You need to have 500 posts I believe and be a member for something like 3 month.

Like Derri said, you must be a member for 3 months, AND have at least 500 posts before that ability is "unlocked."

Oh I am surprised I was correct. I vaguley remember trying to create a group when I was a newbie on the site.

Anyway yes this is for your own protection really as spam bots and other people who would clearly disobey the rules could create rude groups and other things.

Alternatively, you could ask somebody to create one for you and then transfer ownership to you. I'm not sure if that will work until you actually fulfill the requirements, though.

Yeah, I've seen someone transfer a group to another with out the required posts.
