Like everyone else said, it's not completely controllable. It's how the male body is wired and a reasonable person would know that, but by the way you describe it, she seem fine with it if not flattered. It's understandable to be embarrassed by the situation, but after you get use to her sitting on your lap, you won't react as such as often.
