Sigur Ros just released their newest album Valtari. This album is purely amazing in every way. Not only do I just recommend listening to it, but if you have the money, go out and buy it. This album is easily, hands down, album of the year this year. I will not do a review here of it, I already have a thread in "The Machines are Taking Over" for album reviews, but if you have the chance, listen. I'll be posting a YouTube playlist of all the tracks in order shortly.

Sigur Ros, for those who don't know, are an Icelandic post-rock band. Post-rock is a genre that is mostly instrumental in nature with little or no vocals. Sigur Ros, one of the more popular post-rock groups, has released highly acclaimed albums such as Takk..., Von, Ágætus Byrjun, and, recently, Valtari. Sigur Ros is also recognized for its use of boyish dreamy vocals, sung by frontman Jonsi, in their native language.
For those of you looking for a powerful, emotional, and often overwhelming experience in ambient fields of sound, you need not look further.

Thank you, Matt for that insight into Sigur Ros.
Here (http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1A63866DCBB2539A) is the playlist for any of you interested. If you don't love this album, I'll question your morals. Seriously. No man should be allowed to walk this earth and say this isn't a great album. Yes, I'm going over the top, but the album is that good.
