Now I know I'm only 19 and not 90 but I feel so old :/ I have a bit if a bad back and I feel well just old :/ if I run more than 10ft I have a stich lol, I'm not overweight or anything like that and I dont smoke or do drugs etc but when I see kids running round it almost makes me feel jelous lol :( Is there anyone else that has noticed losing a lot of fitness as they get a bit older???

Scoliosis has become increasingly common in young adults. I'm not saying you have that, but it's a possibility. It could just be a lack of exercise that's causing the pain when you do run. Maybe run a bit each day, slowly increasing the distance.

Well I ride amountain bike, and can go for miles and miles and miles lol but just when you see kids and I just think to myself when did I stop being that agile :/,, whats scoliosis?? Sounds nasty.

I think you may need some more water...you sound slightly dehydrated...when you run you use much more muscles than when you ride a bike. I think that is why you can ride better than you can run. It could be anemia it could be a heart condition it could be many different things either way I think you should also call your physician and let them know...if they feel it is something they need to look into then they will let you know and care steer you in the right direction.

Scoliosis is where the spine twists. It might not be the case for you, but it's never a bad idea to get it checked. Also, riding a bike requires less muscle use than running. I can ride my bike for hours and barely be tired, but I get tired running after about 10 minutes :P
