hi guys im a thirteen year old who is gay, yes call me what you want but i dont care, i have come out to my close friend who understands, but most of the boys have already noticed stuff about me that is unuasual ( to them ) such as me being gay, some kids have called me gay and made fun of me so the make me feel bad but i have a sister who has a lot of gay male friends, i think more of the kids will understand me in high school more of than jr high, for all the older kids do you think high school is going to be better years for me

It seriously depends what school you go to. Mine is not at all accepting that's why I've only told one friend in my school. It can be a problem but I'd check what reputation your new school has for behaviour and stuff. If its bad it may be the same for you or worse. Sorry to burst your bubble buddy I do feel really sorry for you but I may be completely wrong :). If you ever need to talk ,because I am in the same boat as you, contact me :)

Ya highschool is generally a sigh of relief for gay kids because you will find a lot more people that are the same way. Of course nothing is wrong with being gay, and the main reason kids will act that way is because they are insecure about themselves as well as immature.

Don't expect tons of relief in the first year of high school because although it is somewhat better for the gay kids I know, it isn't completely free of insults.

To quote a well known phrase these days, "it get's better". Highschool will be different. There are more people who are generally more mature. That means that people will be more accepting and you will probably find other gay guys. If you ever need to talk, message me :) x
