Cutters in the past

Hey there all :)

Today I was browsing throught the forum and meanwhile I was doing a history project and for a second I had a strange thought. Do you know if there have been any cutters or self harmers in the past. I mean, like 50-200 years ago or were people busy with other things? Just wanted to know :) :D xoxo

I actually think there could be some that did. I mean we had suicidal people and even artists that cut off their ear to send it to a loved one in the mail. I bet there would be self harmers.. Let me know if you ever find out! :D

Self injury has been around a long time. It just wasn't recognized to here as of late. Many famous people have taken part in this as well.
