I don't understand what the big deal with this is. Should we be ashamed of our bodies? I don't think so. Not to mention, we have the same "stuff". I doubt guys cover up anymore than girls do.

Because we have nothing that the girl's around us haven't seen before and most of us are okay enough with our bodies that we don't feel like homos when we're seen naked by members of our sex.(Unless you are one, like me.)

Well, in my school they aren't communal showers, and people are actually pretty modest. I guess it's because nobody's actually going to ogle anyone else, and if they did then shit would go down.

And I had a similar conversation with a girl friend today. She said that girls are just not really afraid to show their body to their girl friends and my logic behind that would be that you can easily see what size a girl is when they are dressed but you can't tell a guy's size without actually taking his pants off... Therefore girls have nothing to be ashamed of while some guys do...

But then again, I'm not a girl so let them provide the proper reasons :)
