I give up

I'm too introvertical. People question me why I stop talking for a few hours. i'm too shy. I'll never find someone to make me happy, someone that I can look forward to seeing everyday, someone to hold in my arms.
So, I give up. People can just leave me alone for the rest of my life, because I give up on trying to make relationships, both friendships and relationships.

Are you worried that you'll get lonely, if you give up on people?

I shouldn't criticise your decision, because I've often considered similar decisions, and after all, it is your life, not mine. I don't think "giving up" is ever a good decision, though, to be honest. The most meaningful relationships happen out of the blue. They happen without any trying at all. They're effortless. So by giving up, you probably wouldn't achieve anything.

That's all I really have to say. I don't mean to tear you down or anything, I just wouldn't want you to make a mistake.

Many friendships or relationships just...happen...they aren't planned or calculated. Soon after meeting someone, you figure out if you have anything in common and if so, you just kind of build on it to see what else you have in common. I know plenty of people who are introverted and have many friends, so please don't give up!
