condom breaking

i had sex with my girlfriend and when i came it broke the end of the condom open, has anyone else had this happen?

Ive never had that happen to me and ive used condoms quite a bit. Hopefully she was on the pill as a backup

That's happened to me a few times, or it will slip off my dick and stay inside. I never worry much, but I guess that's bad advice.

You probably didn't pinch the tip when you put the condom on. Your ejaculation comes out fairly fast, and there's a lot of it (for a condom to hold anyways). If you didn't leave any room for it to go, then it's fairly common for it it to break..

If you did leave room, and applied the condom correctly, there are two things that could have gone wrong.

1) the condom is too small, and you need to buy something that fits you better.
2) you used an older condom, that broke.

It could've been too small, too old, or like the guy above me said, you didn't leave enough room in the tip. Be more careful next time.
