bleaching hair with hydrogen peroxide

Has anyone done this? If so what happened? I kinda want to bleach streaks in my hair or the tips or something. My hair is brown/red so I'm kinda worried it'll come out orange, but its not that big of a deal. How long does it take? And would you recommend doing it?

Go to a place like Sally's Beauty Supply and get a bleaching kit.. they are relatively cheap..

I tried it today, and didn't notice a difference at all. My hair is pretty short, so I'm not really worried about split ends and that stuff. I didn't do all of my hair, nor was I planning to. Just a small bit on the front.

i would go to a beauty supply and buy bleach and a maybe 30 developer.

Don't do that, get someone professional to help you out. Bleach is vicious for your hair and you could really damage it if it's not done right.
