How do I know if a girl is shy?

Basically what the title says, I would like to know how to tell if a girl is shy.

Well, it would be pretty obvious I assume but the qualities of someone that's shy would be that they don't look you in the eye, they figit around a lot and look uncomfortable maybe?, they would be more quiet and awkward.
