Other than not go on here the whole day, what tips do you guys have for studying for semester finals/year terminus?
I have basically one week of review time, then (in two weeks) we have finals, and last semester my strategies didn't really work. Any suggestions?
And, please, please, please don't say something retarded like "uhhh duhh don't go on here duuhhhh". I know that already, I'm not stupid.

Well

Sorry, I just had to do it! Please don't send a bomb to my door...
Alright, but seriously you just need to reserve some time to sit down and bring all of your notes out to study. I'd recommend organizing your notes before studying them so it will be more efficient. Also make sure that you have ALL your materials that you need to study with (it's happened to me before where I didn't have all of my materials). Maybe having one of your friends help you study too. OH and flashcards are really useful!

Don't pull ":|" faces to me on Skype every half an hour!
Loljk. It's really hard to procrastinate. It sounds a little too easy to write than to do, but you need to think of the long term. Something you want to achieve. For me, it was the possibility of going overseas for university, to do something I really wanted to do.

Start by making sure you have all your notes from the year in order. Read through them, and, (if math or any other subject that you can "practice") go over practice problems. They'll usually have these in the back of a textbook. Also, spend extra time on parts you didn't understand previously, and less time on the other parts.
Look over your previous tests, if you have them. This way, you can get a feel for answering in question/answer form.
Don't procrastinate. (Yea, I suck at this.) Set a certain amount of time for yourself to study, and take breaks as necessary.
Good Luck!

Don't just stare at your notes for several hours. That is not only useless, but demotivating as well.
Instead, read a small part of your notes. Then, think about what you just read, and try to summarise it in different words, and write it down -- a new summary for each section/chapter/unit/however you break it down. Continue like that until you've progressed through everything. Now, gather the summaries you just wrote, and combine those into one big summary. Take the rest of the day off.
Then, before you go to bed, reread that big summary. Get enough sleep, and you should do great. Don't forget a good breakfast.
When you step into the class, don't think negative thoughts, as hard as that might be. Instead of stressing when you don't know the answer, skip it and come back to it later. Or, what I like to do, put a small mark next to the question(if you guessed on it) and come back later. It is possible that the later parts of the exam contain info that could remind you of the answer to a previous question.
Good luck! :)

If your teacher reviewed what would be on the exam, see if you can condense your notes down by making notecards, or highlight your notes so you only review what will be on the test. Like someone said earlier, if you can review your old tests and quizzes and homework, that should help too. If there was anything you went over earlier in the school year that you didn't really understand and it will be on the exam, you should get some help so you will understand those concepts and get them right for the final (reviewing old exams/quizzes/homework helps with that).
Don't procrastinate, make sure you get plenty of sleep, and don't forget to take a 10 to 15 minute break every couple of hours or so. Just do those things, try your best, and you should be fine. Best of luck to you!
