Purpose of VT?

Ok, I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but I'm gonna try anyway. I found this site on Google when I was looking for a good teen site with a chat room, and most importantly, rules! And I always thought it was just a general site for teens. But I've noticed an unusually large amount of support forums, and I even saw a mod saying that troubled teens come here for support. And I just noticed the banner says "Recover, Learn, and grow together" So I was wondering, is this just a normal teen website, or is it for troubled teens?

VT is a site for anyone really, everyone is welcome as long as you abide my the rules you'll be fine. Yes it is a help site for the most part but there are also things like the general discussions forum and member diarys, lots of people that don't need help join, i'm sure you'll find somewhere that you enjoy to post in. Just take a look around is all the advice I can give you.

I am here, yes, I am troubled, but I also enjoy other parts of VT. There is a Psych Ward, but there is also General Discussions, Teen Lifestyle, Help and Advice... Puberty 101 :/ and a lot of stuff that's for everybody!

A lot of teens join when they're in need of help, heck, that's why I was here. But over time you get to know the community and it eventually turns into a site where you make friends and talk to others who may have been in the same situation as you. Also it's not a place where adults boss us around, we're all teenagers here, and some people leave after they feel that their time here is up and their sorted, and want to go on with their lives.

VirtualTeen is a help site, for teens by teens. You do not need to have any specific troubles to use the site, but many teens use this site for that purpose, and we keep the environment open and friendly for when you do need help with anything. From family issues to cooking questions to having support to getting advice. :)
