i would like if you could explain these 3 methods a bit,

first of, last time i checked the body does not have a watch that tells your body to put food you eat after 6:30 on your body as fat

same with the eat at night thing

when it comes to protein supliments, i wouldn't ever recomend anyone who dosen't need the supliment to buy it as it will only be a waste of money.
rather have the person to learn how the body works when it comes to nutrition. and eat what the person need rather then eat supliments.

something id like to add would also be that you will gain more muscle if you eat more energy then you use, as the body don't want to add more muscle if it dosen't enought energy as it would be insufficient, you can still gain muscle while eating less energy though

1) Since you’re less active at night, you’ll be less likely to burn the calories you just ate. This will lead to a greater percentage of these calories being converted to body fat.

2) Food choices usually get worse in the evening.

3) Eating at night can disturb sleep patterns, thus leading to poor recovery and regeneration.

4) Your digestive system slows down at night, so any food eaten then will not be fully absorbed.

5) And last but not least, a scientific study showed that mice that ate during the evening were more likely to gain fat than mice that consumed the same amount of calories earlier in the day.

as for the Protein:

When you’re growing. A teenager needs more protein to fuel his workouts
because his body is still growing and uses more protein in general.

When you’re starting a program. If working out is new to you and you’re trying to build muscle, you’ll require more protein than you normally would.

When you’re amping up your workouts. If you normally work out for half an
hour a few times a week, but now you’ve decide to train for a half-marathon, your body will need more protein.

When you’re recovering from an injury. Athletes with sports injuries frequently need more protein to help them heal.

Can you at least change "Stake" to steak please? It's driving me nuts.
(Sorry, I'm a bit of a grammar freak.)

Edit: Thanks. :)

1, the convertion from energy to fat is not an overnight proces, and to be picky you would burn more calories being up at night rather then be sleeping  nothing to put weight on though

2,this is just lack of discepline

3, i agree i just don't like that you would say it's the eating during night, it's more like not sleeping or not getting enough REM sleep

4, thats true, as again what i got hooked on was that it would be a big thing why you would gain weight, we only gain weight when we eat more energy then we use and if i need 2000kcal/day then i could eat it whenever wanted to. but ofc it's more healthy to distribute it during the day rather then night.

5, if you got the article i would love to read it, the sad things about these studdies are that they are not usaly done properly, but is rather used to make headlines in evening papers as wonder weight loss methods.

6, ofc you will need more protein when you work out as it's essential to rebuild the muscle, but this can be achieved by just altering your eating habits.
still i do use a protein supliment, but thats because i need those extra g of protein, as i have a hard time to get the amount of protein per the kcal that i eat per day, and my mom got kinda pissed when i ate ½kg of chicken

Not to be picky here, but just some things I find contradictory here.

2) In reference to don't eat after 6:30pm. It can differ from country to country, but I would say many people have their dinner after this time, and not only is this generally a healthy meal with high protein, it is a necessary part of your dietary intake.

3) Whilst eating inappropriate food at night can disrupt sleep patterns, such as high sugar foods or food or drink with caffeine, the body does a lot of restoration and rejuvenating in sleep, and food is needed for the energy it supplies during this time. That is why a lot of people drink protein shakes at night, that's when your body does the majority of work (and like most health and fitness techniques and beliefs, this is different for everyone and each person has a different way of doing things).

4) This is only part true. While yes, the digestive system and much of our body slows down towards the evening, as I have mentioned, the body does a lot of restoration and rejuvenating in sleep, and food is needed for the energy it supplies during this time.

5) Studies on mice are quite controversial, as it is obviously not a human, and as such any "findings" on mice by scientists should be taken with the correct amount of skepticism.

I'm not having a go at you at all, and I'm sorry if I come across that way. I'm just saying a couple of things you said were incorrect in my opinion, but as I mentioned, in this section, everyone has different beliefs and ideas, with lots of good reasoning behind them. Your body may do things differently to other peoples bodies.

However, I will beat this point to death - Every body is different.
So some of my opinions may be considered wrong by some. Albeit, with a personal trainer and quite a few friends who have knowledge on the subject, I know a bit on the topic.

Over all, it was quite interesting, and I personally think your basics are correct. However, I do believe (as you can see) that some information is missing, but I also believe that this is a good guide if not quite basic. Don't take that as a bad thing though, basic is very good for those who are beginning to take into account their fitness and body type (and I believe it is aimed at beginners, correct me if wrong).
