I am gay and my mum has just said this " I so hope you have a baby I will cry my eyes out when you have one. You can't take that feeling away from me I'll do all your babysitting and everything". That's a lil bit of wot she said anyway. I actually now officially feel like shit because I cannot fulfil my mums dreams for me. I can't change my sexuality. I actually now actually want to scream! Why did she have to say that? She obv doesn't know I'm gay but I am going to tell her. This little thing has just made telling her so much harder :(

Every parents is like that, they think of your wedding, first kid ect ect. I know it's hard but you have to do what you have to do. Anyways, you can actually have a kid, just not naturally but I don't think that's what you want is it? She'll understand one day, even if its not straight away. It does get easier, remember that.

All parents have that dream for their child. They want to watch them grow up, get married, have a family; but at the end of the day, that is their dream.
When my friend came out to his parents, they were upset that he wouldn't live the dream they had for him but they realised that it is his life and that his dreams were far more important than their own.
What i am trying to say is, while in saying that your mother made things hard for you, she only said it because she doesn't know who you are yet and what dreams you may have. So, tell her. When you are ready, tell her and talk to her about it. Because eventually, she will understand.

That's what every parent wants for their child. You know what else every parent wants for their child? They want them to be happy. As long as you're happy, I'm sure you'll be fulfilling your mothers dream. :)

I love how much you care for your mum. She must be very proud to have a son as caring as you. :D
