So today i was banished to the library to edit my half-assed research paper and i decided to log on to this website...1. hello and 2. please, girls (and hell guys for that matter) don't lie to make someone feel better.
There's this girl at school that i've come to like. Surprising since my last adventure with ladies didn't go so well. She is a freshman who acts like a junior. She's funny and very cute. We've been flirting for awhile and i decided to ask her out on a date to my little town's "fancy" resturant. She said "Sure, but just as friends. I really like you but i don't want to date nobody in high school. I'm more worried about education." I thought that as pretty legit. I thought she was telling me the truth. After our "date" we went about school as usual. She was in my last period "which was french 2" and i talked to her as we walked home (tennis is over). Well after one more attempt at trying to get her to date me a couple weeks later she said. "I really like to Eli...but no...i don't date." so over the weekend i decided to just let it rest for awhile. Today...i saw her kiss her new boyfriend...i tried to not let this affect me...but i cannot lie, it did. She told me after i saw that that she was just "letting me down easy so i didn't feel bad." IT MADE ME FEEL WORSE!!!!!! If she would have told me the truth that she DIDN'T LIKE ME then i would have been ok. INSTEAD!!! i WASTED time trying to get with her.............it didn't help that right before that moment i a fight with the only friend i ever trusted......jeeez...what a day
