not sure how to start all this

So there's this girl I like... erm.. a lot, and for a while too... anyways, last week she came out to me as Bi so I had hope :D... But she likes my friend. Probably the most asexual person I know. I told one of my friends and she's trying to get us together. But on the 17th in math she came into our class, I was acting all flirty and shit.... I'm also not the subtlest person in the world.. at one point she started texting the same friend, who was nevertheless right next to her and asked if I liked her. SO the friend said yes.. the conversation went on and on. but I was shortly told that this is what the friend said " M_______ isn't going to do shit, but Casey genuinely likes you" and we haven't spoken since. I really want to be with her. She's sweet and is just... perfect. I've got one class with her, and I see her on Wednesday during pool.. But since we both never participate... i don't know....... ><
Should I try something? Or should I just move on with my life?

If you think you have a chance, go for it, if it's what you really want I don't see why you shouldn't at least try. It depends if you think it's right. Otherwise, no, don't do anything and move on.

Try talking to her since you clearly have feelings for her; you'll never get what you want if you don't go for it. But like Siobhan said, if you feel like it isn't right, then don't.
