Okay, I thought I was going to hate switching back to windows but its easier to switch to than it is ubuntu and I feel more free using it. My sisters laptop died and it ran windows so I swapped hardrives (At the cost of losing some gigs of memory) and now my laptop is as good as new. I also got the desktop I wanted too! :D
But I need help with updating my Video driver.
My Video Card is a "Mobile Intel(R) 45 Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1)"

Why does it need updating? By those pictures it looks fine.
And what on earth is "Metro" lol, I'm pretty sure Windows 8 says "Start" at the top and doesn't have a start button..
Also, When Windows 8 does come out, it will probably have updates for your video card anyway.
You can also update your video driver through the device manager.

Nope its windows 7 given a vista look and had the metro dropped onto the desktop. for some reason when I go to play steam games it tells me my graphics driver or video card is outdated and that it needs updating.

Well there's something wrong there since if your desktop can run Aero it seems weird why it cannot run Steam Games. Unless it is not a high or medium end gaming laptop that can cope.

Is there a theme pack to make Windows 7 look like Vista? Sorry for asking so much :P

Back to the question...
You can also use a driver detective as well, but in my opinion I'd recommend talking to steam directly.

Back to the question...
Thanks for the negative rep Sandeep :)
I'd assume, since the graphics card is manufactured by Intel, to check their website. I don't quite see where Steam fits into the equation?

Sound's great, thanks :)
That's very odd, but usually drivers for components aren't updated through Windows update.
