Before I tell you the situation, I did something a bit stupid, and about a month ago, I told this girls best friend about a lie that I made up that I would be having sex with a girl from anotner town during half term, when I go over there (I actually will see girls over there, but I certainly won't be having sex with them).
Basically, I recently refriended this really nice girl. She's funny, laughs at my jokes and always seems to be happy when I'm around. On facebook, however, is where we talk seriously.
Literally this week, she accidently liked one of my texas hold'em feeds on facebook, and I asked her on facebook why she liked it and she said it was an accident, so I picked things up from there. By wednesday we were back to where we were earlier (and if I'm honest, I like her more now than I did when we initially broke up). I learnt that she was getting very close to starting a relationship with this boy (who I never really liked that much) in the year above us (they will leave this term though). It seemed that things were going good for them, and I was happy for her that she would be getting her first boyfriend.
However, today in chemistry we sat near eachother, but there were others we felt a bit awkward talking with, so we passed silly notes to eachother all lesson. When the lesson finished, she left without saying anything to me (I actually get quite nervous around her, I used to fancy her, and I think I may be growing feelings again for her).
Later on facebook, we started talking, then the conversation died down a bit and then suddenly it sparked, and eventually it led to her saying something that shocked me. She told me about a friend of hers who is in a relationship and is so sweet and nice to his girlfriend and how they get on, but how she didn't seem to appreciate what she had.
Then, my friend (I will just call her Kasia from now on), mentioned all the qualities she wanted in a relationship. Without being big headed, I actually think I fitted into all of them, but I didn't say anything about that, so I said "just like Olek then hmm?" (Olek is the boy she was close to starting a relationship with). To my surprise she said "No, not like Olek", and she said she was reconsidering him completely now, and I said "well, who do you think has these qualities?" and she replied by "I don't know :(". Eventually, we spoke about personalities etc and then I asked her "Do you think I'm a good person?" and she just replied "yeah", and then said she was tired and wanted to go to bed
Before this conversation, however, Kasia told me that the girl I told about my little made up story, and how she knew about it, and it 'sounded' (remember this is all over facebook chat) like she was quite disappointed. She knocked some sense into me, and I said I wouldn't do it, and to be honest if it was really happening I would actually not do it anymore.
I hardly talk to her in person, except in biology where we are next to eachother, but we only get 3 lessons a fortnight for biology, but we certainly enjoy ourselves when we have it. We never hug or do anything physical
So, after all this, why would she do this? I'm confident she doesn't like me for my looks, and she pretty much never compliments me. She's always telling me about how its the inside, not the outside, that counts. I'm sorry if I left it a bit tough for you all to answer, but I would really appreciate any help :D
