While this is not an immediate problem, I fully realize that soon my mother will make me go to the gyno for pelvic exams (especially since I just reached the age of consent here). How am I supposed to hide the scars on my legs? I carve, so claiming that I got in an accident wouldn't work. I've also tried using foundation/concealer, which only make the cuts and scars stand out more.

Hmm, I hate this problem. If the doctor insists on making a point of asking you about your scars, just say it was a long time ago and you would rather not talk about it. I mean, she's not obligated to tell your mother anything that you don't want her to, so you can make a point of asking her if you feel it's necessary. That's what I did, and eventually my doctor just stopped mentioning it.
Sorry if this isn't helpful, that's just what I would do.

I had that problem my first visit to one a few years ago. They give you a blanket/paper thing to put over your legs, so they won't be seeing any scars as long as it's above the knee. If it's below, wear very long socks. But a good thing for you to know is that if they do see it, it's okay. My nurse practitioner saw my scars on my arm because the blood pressure test wouldn't work on my right arm, and they simply asked me questions about it and what not. I was underage at that time, but they simply asked if I wanted them to notify my parents or not.
The blanket/paper stays over your legs the entire test.

The problem is, I've cut on the backs of my thighs too, so with my feet in the little stirrup thingies (or whatever they're called) the scars will be right there.

I was in the hospital last month for a heart procedure called a cardiac cath. They DEFINITELY saw my scars and cuts--they are on my thighs/stomach and for the cath they go through your groin/thigh area. I was sedated during the procedure, but they never mentioned anything after. Even when the doctor came in to check my incision and lifted my gown up to compare both of my thighs(to check for swelling) so she definitely saw the scars, cant miss them!
Hopefully they dont say anything otherwise just say i am working on it and dont want to talk about it.

If they're on the back of your thighs, and foundation/ concealer would draw attention to it, then honestly I don't think there is anything you can do to prevent them seeing them.
But hey, they might not even ask about it :) Do your parents know? If they do, then it shouldn't be an issue. Doctors and nurses are professionals, so they if they do see the scars and ask questions, they will deal with it (hopefully) in an appropriate way. You could just sat that "it's personal", or "that was a long time ago" or something... People who SH are generally good at making up excuses. (Or people are just really really stupid haha).
Anyway, good luck! :)
(And I hope the exam is all good)
