I have a close friend that is a girl and we are tight together. She now has a boyfriend that is too controlling and seems to not trust her like he should. After me and my friend have been planning for months to hangout over the summer, her boyfriend won't let her hangout or be around any other guy. So there went our plans for hanging out. Apparently, he had an ex who cheated on him, and I guess he is still living the past and thinks my friend will cheat on him (She is NOT that type of person). So, he doesn't seem to trust her enough to hangout with guy friends that she has known for a few years. Well, here is the new situation that really ticked me off big time. My friend and I knew that he was leaving for half the summer to go to his cousin's place, but guess what she found out. The boyfriend's cousin's girlfriend is having a party and my friend's boyfriend is going to some girl's party. Now, she can't hangout with other guys, but he can go to some girl's party. Thats what really ticked me off! So now we are in this big situation, and I'm just so ticked off. I'm trying to tell my friend that he is too controlling and that he doesn't trust her enough (Two other people that I told this to said the same thing). The reason why I think he is so controlling and not trusting her is because he is not letting go of the past and moving on. He keeps living that past of his ex cheating on him, so now he thinks my friend will cheat on him or something. If he would move on and trust in her enough, we wouldn't be in this situation. I just don't want my friend to get hurt, because I care a lot for her. She is just too madly in love with him that she is not getting the picture Im trying to show her.....Have you ever been in this situation, and if so. What did you do???
