Girls norm start before boys, not always the case with everyone though, afterall everyone is different

Seeing as I'm a girl and could probably give you a girls perspective. Most start around 11/12, depending on their body. So no, not the same time.

A lot of boys also get it around 12, so it's not really far off at all. But it's true that girls do start a little earlier than boys, so I wouldn't say it's uncommon for girls to get pubic hair just before boys their age does, but that varies from person to person.
