How to get hello and goodbye hugs from girl friends?

A lot of the girls in my grade hug guys hello and goodbye and I seem to be friends with most of them :) some of them do give me hello and goodbye hugs, but a lot of them don't... How do I start getting them?
Do I ask? Do I just go for the hug? How does this work? :S

pretty much just look as if you're about to hug them and they'll probably respond, its really nothing more than that tbh.

Try to look like you want to hug them. To be honest some people do this some don't it really is not big deal.

Just go for it if they're your friends lol I hug my friends all the time it's just somthing we do! Just make sure they want to before you glomp them x) so it isn't awkward
