Thoughts? Opinions? I personally like the mincraft on the 360. I always take friends that play minecraft. My live username is wallingtonbro32.

It's quite good. There's a lot to be fixed and a lot to be added though

^Agreed^. Plus no mod support, which is kinda crap. But the online is so much easier than the pc version. Also no frame-rate stutter on my xbox. But that's just because my laptop is crap.
Controls are kind of fiddly as-well.

I've only played the demo. From what I can gather a few things could be done differently. For one, go past beta 1.7 as the version they're using. Also, if it is possible, expanding the world would be nice.
I'm not convinced enough to throw $20 at my TV for a game I already own and hardly play anymore.

Do you really think Microsoft, or any console company for that matter, would be that bold? To allow mod support on any console game is fucking dumb. If you want mods, just play it on PC and be happy with that much.
The problem I see with it, as a PC player, is that they're using a version of the game that is well over a year old. Beta 1.7 is the best they could do? I know they'll be releasing eventual patches and updates, but they could have at least used version 1.0.

Your right, but I can still dream. It may happen, at some point. Maybe when pigs develop wings and start to fly. :P

I love it! The framerate is smooth, the old terrain generation is back ('cos it's an older version), the new UI is very intuitive, the controls feel second-nature, the multiplayer is fantastic (inviting friends to single-player worlds, etc)...
I always thought Beta 1.7 was more fun than current versions, so I love this :D

I've really wanted to try this, when I have money next I'm gonna buy it, I love the fact that you can split screen as well now.

I like it on the pc just cause of all the mods and textures you can get.

I must make a correction on a former post of mine. The Xbox 360 uses what is the equivalent of Beta 1.6.6.
Also I'm starting to consider buying it, when I get $20.

ive had mc since alpha and i dont like change. i like pc because u can do mods and stuff and it feels original. i have yet to buy it on 360. i just think the main minecraft that mojang will be working on should stay as pc. there changing it to xbox and my freinds have it on xbox and they are such noobs. i explained so much today on mining teqniques and fast survival skills.

So I bought the game and have to say, it's a lot of fun. All the games I've played on Live have been a lot more cooperative as opposed to do-it yourself or PvP.
