I started cutting 3 weeks ago. I did self harm when I was 11 or so.. but not cutting. I did it and it feels pretty good. Seeing the blood makes me feel alive. People at school saw and now everyone thinks I'm suicidal. I don't cut to kill myself, bitches.:guillotine: I can't find any other way to show emotions... I feel like a robot.

It's okay, people make the assumption that when you cut you're trying to kill yourself. If anything it's because you're trying to keep yourself alive but different people cut for lots of different reasons.

There are so many ways to show your emotions, cutting definitly isn't your only option. Have you tried writing it down, writing a letter, poem, story? They can all be used to show how you're feeling. Drawing or painting can be very personal as well. Music is a great way to express yourself, listening or playing. You don't need to cut you are alive and although it may seem like you need it to feel you really don't.

Have you tried talking to anyone about it? I know it's hard but is there anyone you trust, a friend, teacher, an adult? Talking and just letting someone know what's wrong can be very good and take a lot off your shoulders. Things can get better if you allow yourself to open up to people.

When I was younger I felt pretty depressed about myself too, and almost cut. I didn't do it in the end cause I felt squeamish about actually cutting into my wrists (go figure... lol).

There are absolutely different ways to channel this. I've been in the same boat, the need to feel... something, just anything to make sure I'm alive and not some robot (not gonna explain them though xD).

I agree with the above, try to express your feelings in a creative way. Whether it be writing, art, music, etc. It doesn't have to be perfect and maybe what you create may suck at first, but that doesn't matter. What matters is you find a way to express yourself through other channels, ways that don't harm yourself.

Hope you feel better :/

i agreethat cutting is not the best way of doing things and that you should find other relief (though i cut, myself) but i also understand the feeling of complete life just taking over and filling your every being. it comes to where it controls your feelings and then your thoughts (thus, not the greatest outlet) but....man it feels so good, and that's okay :) we all have our ticks that keep us ticking. it's just a matter of how we handle them. did you try explaining to the people that accused you what exactly your full intentions are? that may help too.
sorry,i'm kinda lame with advice, but hit me up sometime and i'd be more than happy to help you with anything you need, or if you need people to stop trying to help you so much, i can be there to just listen and let you defuse :)
