Can You Love More Than One Person?

Is it possible to love multiple people at once? If so, can you love them all equally or is there only onespecial person/soulmate for everyone?

I'd just like to know everyone's opinions on this...

care 'bout what you say... love is not a simple thing, many people just call love to "that". that is just simply lots of emotions and hormonal stuff... so, I think what you feel is not love, is just what I said above.
because when you really love someone is just only that person, that means the world to you, and is JUST that only person.
you can feel "that" weird emotion to many people, but love, only one...

I don't think you can love few people at the same time, but you can certainly love someone and like others at the same time.

You can love as many people (and things) as you want, but there will be that one person your IN love with, if you try to be IN love with more then one person.. it wont work, wouldnt be the wisest move either :)

I definitely don't think you can love more than one person at a time. Like, maybe if you still have love for say, an ex or something. I think that's possible, because i firmly believe that if you truly love someone, there will always be a part of you that still loves them. But i dont think you can full on be IN LOVE with more than one person.

Basically what everyone else is saying. You could care about more than one person and in a sense love them, but there is only one person that you should be in love with and want to be with. I think if you're in love with more than one person things will go pretty bumpy

Some people can be in love with more than one person. (Who's to say they can't?) I personally don't believe that there is such a thing as a "soulmate" because there are lots of people in this world, and you meet the people you meet by this thing called chance.

I think there are different levels of love...like you might love various members of your family, and you love your friends, your significant other. You can love many people at the same time, but just in different amounts I guess.

My personal belief is that you can love as many people as you want, but you can only be IN love with 1 person at a time. I believe you can be IN love with multiple people over the course of your life, but you can only be in love with 1 person at a time. I don't think it's possible to really be in love with 2 people at the same time.

I think this is generally true. I think you have to ask yourself if you're willing to have the person you love also love multiple people, or if that would make you jealous.

its possible but rare to love more than 1 person however u can like as many as u want for me i have loved the same girl for the last 6 years but i have liked many in between...take peeta's quote "yes i've noticed other girls but none had a lasting impression"
