I downloaded the 30 day trial today, and I am actually pretty impressed. CS6 has some sweet new features, and I like how it's all blacked out now.

Has anyone else been using CS6 yet? What are your thoughts?

I think that Adobe CS is a product for -- in my opinion(take it with a grain of salt) -- those who only buy it to "look professional". I don't know how they manage to squeeze $499 or whatever it is for that, that bloatware.
So no, I have not used it :)

Vim has always worked for me.

My schools teach it and get us ACA and ACE certified with the stuff, so it's what i use. Basic web fundamentals I use Notepad ++, and basic graphics I use Paint.Net :P

Dreamweaver has some great features though. And not many other suites have Illustrator or InDesign. So :P

I really do understand your point. Expensive as hell, but it's currently the industry standard. Student Edition is like $500, full version is near $2000 (USD)
