What would be in this "nerd forum?"

Urr it really it's needed to be honest. I mean you have practically everything just fine a place that best suits whatever it is you want to thread. It would just clutter the place up.

sounds closely related to tech junkies if I'm honest... or TPWR has the same purpose of any old random threads.
I don't see the need, the names stereotypical before you've even started..

I don't see any need for something like that. It's a broad and nondescript subject, that really has no demand. I guarantee that any topic you would want to post in said "nerd forum" would fit in perfectly in another section here.

That's what Tech Junky's Paradise (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=39) is for.

But seriously almost everything you could ever want to talk about has a place and if it doesn't, then make a diary about it.

Yeah since people needlesly posted here although the question was answered I shall do the same: You are probably looking for the Tech Junky's Forum.

Basically what was said above, but also by calling it something like a "nerd" forum is generally stereotyping a forum mainly based around computers, and also 'nerd' could be considered offensive. It probably isn't, but could be.
