Finally realised I'm gay, now to come out help?

I think I finally realise now that I am gay, was so close to telling my best mate because she always asks if Im gay and I'd always deny it , so I know I'm gay but I can't face coming out to people, how should I build up the confidence that I don't have Help!

Well I had the same problem but yours seems easier cos it's a girl. If you are seriously worried bring up the topics of gays and see how she responds. If its a good response, go ahead and tell her because she'll most likely be accepting. If you don't want everyone to know then watch out she could be one of these people who spreads secrets. But seriously it's not as bad as you think mate my friend was fine with it and he still treats me the same. I'm sure you'll find the courage somewhere. Need anymore advice you know where to find me :)

I agree with the guy above me (partly because I know him, but yh :) ), most girls always want a gay friend, because then she can talk to you bout boys, and if she kept asking if you was gay, sounds like she knew you was before you did, so deep down she probably wants you to be for the reason I said before^^. But yh if you trust her then tell her, and then if you want more people too know, can slowly tell them, or ask her to keep it between you two till you wanna come out. Good luck tho mate :)

I'd reccomend coming out to your parents pretty soon after coming out to friends before word filters back to them through friends etc. Sure its a nerve wrecking time but its well worth it afterwards, its like you can finally be who you always have been all along. :)

The first person I came out to was my female cousin she was real kool with it then to a guy that we had been messing around for a while that went well too. :)
