Hi guys,

Recently i found out one of my friends are circumcised, and strangely i feel devastated. I guess i just wanted us to kinda be alike this guy. Now i really want to get circumcised even though my penis is healthy, just so i can maybe fit in EVEN MORE with this guy.

thoughts, comments, suggestions,
please help:(

Is there anything else you both have in common? if you do use that, dont get circumcised just to fit in a bit more mate, do it only if its a health risk, or deep down you really want it done. There will be plenty of stuff you two prob have in common, use them to fit in more with him :)

Why would you want to get circumsized just because a friend is? That is just weird

It wouldn't be worth it to be circumcised to simply fit in with one friend, or even several friends to that matter. Like previously mentioned, unless it becomes a health issue or you REALLY want to be circumcised, I would just find other things that you have in common with your friend.

i understand you want to be like your friend, but is your hair color the same? your eye color the same? your height and weight the same? maybe not but you're still friends, right? being you and still being friends is important. enjoy your friend, and if he's a nice guy try to be like him, but you are unique and maybe because you are, that's why he wants to be your friend

Getting cut because a friend is, is not really a good reason. Unless you have some medical/religious reasons then don't do it. No point having operations which aren't strictly necessary.

Dont just do it because you want to be like him, you should only do it if you want to. it is a personal decision and a permanent one to.

Many guys might not understand your feeling but I do. The only difference was ALL my friends were circumcised but I was not. Knowing that I was different made me sick. I tried to tell myself that it did not matter like others are telling you but it did not work. I liked the way they looked and I wanted to look that way too. Finally, I got up the guts to ask my parents if I could get circumcised and they said yes. It was done and I am so happy with the results. Others may never agree because they have not been there but I feel for your pain. I say stop worrying about it and get it done. I think it was the best decision I ever made.

Might as well work it! No use being upset!

That's a silly reason to put yourself through agonizing pain in your penis; somewhere that a guy typically does not want to feel any pain. Just because you have a little more overhang than he does doesn't make you any different than him, it works the same way, yours is just a tad different cosmetically.

Keep in mind that if you get circumcised you will have to rest your penis for an extended period of time -- meaning no sex, masturbation, pocket pullin' -- none of that. You will feel horrible discomfort while it's healing because it flops around and touches your leg, gets squeezed by your thighs a little, rubs against your pants/underwear, all of which I imagine to be agonizing while it's healing.

You also may not be pleased with the scar it leaves, or the way it looks over time. Remember that once you do this that there isn't really a way to fully go back because while they do exist, foreskin restoration will not give you back the same, natural look or feel that you had before.

There also is a chance of the doctor who performs the circumcising doing a sloppy job, giving you an uneven cut with more scar tissue in some areas than others, which could leave you very upset/disappointed with long term results.

Please think it through before you jump into anything.

The pain would be incredible, NOT WORTH IT. i mean we are talking like a 12 month recovery. 12 months of pain, and not being able to use down there. mate, its not worth it

I would advise against it. That's something you cannot change if you decide you want your skin back in a few years it won't be possible

Don't let one little thing get in the way. Everyone is suposed to be different.
