Ok so my brother is in 7th grade and is failing two classes. He might even fail for the year. At first he was being punished for him, but like always my mom just stopped for some reason. I tried to say something to her about the way I feel, but she does not listen. She lets him play video games on the weekends, play on the computer etc. One time I got a C+ on a report card and she had me stare at my white bedroom wall for 9 weeks till I got an A on the next one!!! I do not see this fair at all, she lets my little brother get away with two freaking Fs! then when I bring up how she punished me she say, "everyones different" Whats your thoughts on this?:what:

She might have higher hopes for you to succeed than she does for your brother. Sibling rivalry is also playing a part in this too. But if he is the youngest, then he will always be spoiled by your mum

Your mom most likely is spoiling your little brother silly. Since he is the young one in the family. The youngest usually get their way no matter what. She is probably pressing you harder because she thinks you'll be able to get somewhere in life, as well.

well, depends how much younger ur brother is. cause if ur alot older shes obviously gonna have higher hopes and expectations.
