A Rough Guide to Your First Kiss!


1. Brush your teeth, get a good bath, nicely groomed and clean and fresh, before meeting the other person. There's nothing worse than kissing the rear end of a garbage truck

2. Get into a comfortable position - you can't kiss if your back feels like it's gonna break. Suggestion - Sit side by side on a comfy sofa.

3. Hold your lover, firmly but gently - don't cause pain. Suggestion would be to hold the shoulders, the neck or gently on the side of the face, one side or both sides.

4. Move your faces closer. Don't bump noses. Suggestion would be the guy angle his face slightly so you don't bump noses.

5. Kiss gently, normal closed lips kissing, and close your eyes. Closing your eyes increases the sensations you feel, and also sets the mood.

6. Continue kissing gently. Get comfortable with simple closed lips, lip-to-lip kissing before going anywhere else.

7. If fine till here, tentatively, slowly and lightly draw your tongue across the other person's lips.

8. Chances are from here, if the other person lightly parts her tongue, slowly explore the other person's tongue in a light licking motion.

9. The tongue has a very sensitive surface, which is why tongue to tongue is the essence of french kissing.

10. After you've tried lightly licking the other person's tongue, you can try sucking on it, wrestling with it (see if you can hold it to the floor of her mouth) and other things like that.

11. Swallow your own saliva. It`s the only polite way.

12. Keep mainly to the front of the mouth, concentrating on her lips and tongue. You don`t need to mess with anything back there and gag her.

13. Don't bite. Just nibble. whatever you do, don't bite.

14. Don't swing your tongue round and round like a windmill. Explore lightly, don't drill your way through.

15. Breathe through your nose. Breathe through your nose. I say again, breathe through your nose.

16. Follow so far? You can lightly use your hands too, running your fingers lightly along her waist, along the back, the arms, especially the inside of the arm, the neck, maybe running your fingers through her hair. Again, don't cause pain.

17. Girls like it if you make a little noise. Sort of like mmmm .. softly and lightly. don`t overdo it.

18. Continue kissing.

*twitch* It's been a hard learned lesson that relationships should be 90% in person. It just isn't the same online- you don't have body language, you don't have eye contact, it's less awkward, etc. Anything you feel is important you need to discuss in person, every time, no matter what. Any communication online/through texts/etc should just be small talk, ie hey, how was your day, etc. Everything else needs to be face to face.

In my experience, limited yes, but still experience, asking her about making out is not a good thing. Try to use your own intellect, try to read her body language when you are close. Usually you will know if she really wants to kiss. Also, don't worry too much about being bad, girls usually make up for any lack in the boy's skill. Summary: girls like spontaneity and being surprised by romance, not turning into a discussion therefore ruining some of the magic.

My first kiss was just a peck. But my first make out with a girl was really enjoyable. I had hardly any idea about what to do, but once you get into it, then it is easier to continue in a somewhat acceptable manner. :)

Hehe an interesting analogy. I don't think there is a way of getting better you just have to do it and kinda make it up as you go along - there's no point in concentrating so much on being "good" that you forget to enjoy it yourself.

Just make it up and see what works thats what i did ;).

I agree with Sam, there's no way to get "better" at kissing. You can get to know what your partner likes you to do, but everyone's definition of a "good" kiss varies a bit. If you're worried about making it up as you go, just sorta copy what your partner does. They won't know you're copying them, and you'll never have to worry about going too far.

a good way to start is to watch a scary movie

then when she gets scared and has her head on your chest stroke her hair

then slowly start to 'kiss' her hair and if she doen't resist keep going

keep comforting her until she goes back and sits up

on the way up get your face really close to hers

and if she is in the moment she will make the first move

if not you can

slowly move in to kiss her on the cheek

then move to the lips and take it from there acording to the first post (step 5)

kissing with eyes closed is quite common, but not compulsory, especially until you are used to it and know what you are doing. i'm not sure how experienced you are with kissing, but for me i didn't start closing my eyes when kissing until i got used to it. so now when i kiss, i can sense where evrything is and don't kis her nose.

That would be me, although I have had a chance at a relationship, I just didn't want to be in one at that time, I think it was the girl but I also think it was partly me.

Wow that's nice! Lucky them, we do do things with other all girls schools such as mixers and formal dances, but there are like 3 mixers a year and 2 formal dances a year (where there is a date required -_- )

DONT envy me!!! Since I last saw her (Last Year) I have not had another kiss! It was just such a tease! I never had a girl really like me. Ever. So when She came along, I was just so happy! My first kiss, just so much passion, and she left me about a week later. I still remember everything about her, but I'm still to scared to talk to her.
I never really felt that way about anybody else, and now I've been kept from Her for over a year, with no one else. It's just getting so hard... I ocassionally pass her in the halls of my school; I've kept my feelings bottled up for her for so long, but I just want to tell her I love her!
