A few people know about my self harming and one of my friends found out the other day. She can't keep a secret but promised she would keep mine. Then I found out she told my teacher who didn't believe her but this evening my mum received a letter from my school saying she's to contact them to have a word with my head teacher. Although it might not be about as my parents have been asked before to monitor my facebook because of bullying and stuff. They THINK it's on my part but it's not and now either way I'm really really scared. Please help me what should I do??? I only have a month left before I move to a different school!

Awwww it will be ok! Have you ever thought about telling your parents about your cutting? it might be better coming from you then the school. Otherwise if you don't want to tell, just make sure you have your cuts and scars covered and deny, deny, deny. Stick to the same story and do not waiver. Don't let them "make" you show them your arms/legs(just be like NO why should i have to prove anything you you?)

Though i would suggest telling them first, that way you can have support and help through this.

I'm so sorry that you're in this situation. I think you need to tell your parents yourself before this conference thing. It will help. Your stomach will probably feel crazy sick before you do it, but after it's out, it's out, and you're still okay. There might be some horrified looks and some such, but it will be okay, I promise. YOU will be okay. You shouldn't be mad at your friend, though. At first I would probably also be furious and feel deceived, but she probably just wants to help you. It's all going to be okay!
