Mainly its the way you shave. You get rid of the hair my shaving down, with the hair, then to get the smooth feeling, you shave up against the hair.
Works for me.

Just to add to this; if you're going to be shaving against the grain then you want to be really careful that you don't press down too hard when you shave. If you shave it too low then you can get ingrown hairs, which isn't fun.

I shaved almost a month ago and my pubes are not even close to growing back so I do it about one every month and a half and Idk what else you can do to get it all maybe wax?

nah its prob razor burn might help to put some stick deodorant on the areas u just shaved should help with bare skin rubbing against each other

I put lotion on after I shave, because it keeps you from getting razor burn.

welll my method is lather my area with shaving cream and lightly brush the razor up like a paint brush. it goes agaisnt the grain but it doesnt hurt or cut me. but it does take a bit longer than usual

Like the others say - shave upwards and it takes the pubes off to the skin.

That's exactly the way I do it, but I use soap instead of shaving cream.
('cuz I shave my pubes in a hot shower)
I don't really care if I remove every single last hair, because I only shave down there about once a month or every other month.

The first tine I shaved down there it tok two weeks to fully grow back. Now I leave it alone and let it grow long. Feels nice!

That's a common misconception. It doesn't actually grow back twice as fast/thick.
